What We Believe

Our Faith & Beliefs

the Bible...

We believe in the Bible (Old & New Testament) as being the Inspired Word of God and that it reveals God's complete Will for mankind. (II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:20-21)

The Trinity...

We believe in the Trinity (the three persons of the Godhead). The Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 3:16-17)

Second birth...

We believe that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God and therefore all mankind (of every race) must be born again in order to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. (Romans 3:22-23, Acts 10:34-36) (John 3:3, Luke 24:47)

Salvation...

We believe that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. (A) Conditions of Salvation - Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Christ Jesus. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal Life. (Luke 24:47, John 3:3, Romans 10:13-15, Ephesians 2:8, Titus 2:11, 3:5-7). (B) Evidence of Salvation - The INWARD evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Holy Ghost (Romans 8:16). The OUTWARD evidence to all men is a life of Righteousness and true holiness. (Ephesians 4:24, Titus 2:12)

Water baptism...

We believe in baptism in water as a commandment of our Savior by immersion in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. All who repent and believe on Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Thus showing to the world that they have died with Christ Jesus and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Romans 6:4).

baptism by fire...

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Ghost gives utterance. That all believers are entitled to and should earnestly seek for the promise of the Father, the baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire, according to the command of our Lord Christ Jesus. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4,8, Acts 2:1-4, I Corinthians 12:1-31)

Sanctification...

We believe in Sanctification. That the believer is sanctified through the blood of Christ Jesus in the new birth (I Corinthians 1:30-31). Also as an act of separation from that which is evil and of dedication unto God in obedience of studying and learning of the scriptures. The scriptures teach a life of "holiness without which no man shall see the Lord." (Romans 12:12, I Thessalonians 5:23, Hebrews 12:14, John 17:17)

reconciliation...

We believe according to Colossians 1:18-23 that Jesus made peace through the blood of His cross to reconcile us unto Himself to present us Holy and un-blameable and un-reproveable in His sight: If we continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the Gospel. And according to Hebrews 9 - 28" ...and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation." (Revelation 12:11 says: "And they overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their live unto the death.”)
